因地制宜、就地取材为幼儿自制玩教具是我国幼儿教育的优良传统。在当前幼儿教育改革深入发展和幼儿园办园条件已经有了较大改善的情况下，有必要重新认识幼儿园自制玩教具的目的和意义以及评价等问题。本文结合即将于2007年11月举办的全国幼儿园优秀自制玩教具展评活动，讨论和介绍幼儿园自制玩教具的意义、自制玩教具展评活动的指导思想和优秀自制玩教具的评价标准。
